Constant Content: Freelance Writing Marketplace

I recently signed up for Constant Content and started selling articles, the earnings are great (better then textbroker) and the website itself has a great interface making it very easy to use.
This is an additional website that can help you earn additional income, sign up to Constant Content now and start making money from your hard work, and believe me, you will make a lot more money on this site than you will compared to other freelance sites. The first article might take a while to sell, but don't worry cause after it sells the next ones will sell quicker.
The more work you put in, the more money you receive.

Developing a plan...

The big issue with working online is that you are your own boss, you have to have the plan, you have to follow it! If you're becoming a freelance writer than you have a good chance of making a couple hundred every month. Write about topics that really interest you, that way you can write thousands of words and a lot of articles with ease, instead of struggling to write. Make sure you get the job done, it isn't hard, its just a matter of getting the writing done. I can sell articles all day and be rich if I had enough, the more I write the more I'd be able to sell, write a lot and sell a lot, and watch the money pile up.
Never put off a blogging job, there are a couple times that I've accidentally turned down the opportunity to become a long-term blogger for somebody, that could have been guaranteed payment for a couple months.
The minute you start slippin is the minute you lost money. Your losing money every minute, why are you even reading this I already told you what you have to do, what else do you need to know?
You don't need to know anything else, you need to get the job done!
Right?

If you have any serious questions feel free to leave a comment!

Are You A Teen For Hire

The other day I stumbled upon this site that you probably already know but I'm going to talk about it anyway, so if you used this site then please leave a comment and let me know what you thought about it.
I figured I would help you guys out, if you are a teen for hire then you might be able to find a full time or part time job in your city. I know this blog is about teens working online, but if you guys have the opportunity to get a good guaranteed paying job offline then you need to go for it!

Teens4Hire.org lets teens search for jobs, if you are interested sign up to their website and start looking for jobs!

Stay Motivated, Work on Completing Goals..

In order to properly work online, you need to set high goals and work hard to accomplish them. If you want to make 100 dollars a month, write down a plan..
Example...

If you do freelance work and run a blog then think about this:

One or two days a week write ten 250 word articles that sell for about $2.50...
Come up with at least 3 posts a day for your blog (blog with adsense ads)

Even if you make no cash from your blog you can easily make 100 dollars a month from freelance writing.
If you can easily make 100 dollars a month from freelance writing, how much do you think you can make a week if you write 5 articles a day?
Use basic math, plan out what you will be working on and make sure you get the job done.
The reason most people fail online is because they don't have a boss to tell them what to do and when to do it, they do it on their time and that is when people start slacking!!

Teens that use social networking sites...

If you use FaceBook, MySpace, Friendster, Twitter, or any other social networking site, then start promoting your website/blog or products that you are trying to sell. Most online businesses tend to use social networking sites, but if you have a lot of friends and your not just some guy marketing on social networks then you stand a chance in selling more products and more effectively promoting a website or a blog.
DO NOT SPAM! Spamming will get you deleted on most social networking sites.

Twitter has been very effective for most people, in my experiences it hasn't done much for me, but you may want to give it a shot. I must warn you though, don't fall for the fake mass follower programs who ask you to login with your twitter id and password, your account will get deleted or suspended.

Good luck, remember, there are no specific online jobs for teens, or for anyone, working online is about having more then one form of income, and the more you work the more you make!

Already Have A Blog? Here's how to start...

Once you start up a blog, make sure you keep all your posts on a relevant topic! For example, I've made a couple blogs related to hip hop music, such as cronikonline.com, you have to keep everything relevant or it will be hard to gain readers and subscribers. If your blog about random topics than think about it.. If I go on your blog and see a post on technology, and I like it, I'll come back, but if I come back and see a post on the Civil War, then you just lost me.

Learn SEO, read up on Digitalpoint Forums and really try to learn something, SEO (search engine optimization) is what will get your blog all the traffic it needs.
Gaining backlinks is a good start for you, but start slow or Google and other search engine will think that your spamming. A backlink is when another site has a link to your website/blog, the more backlinks you have (especially if the other websites are relevant to your blogs topic) the more you will probably show up on searches.
Are you signed up to any forum websites? If you listened to my advice before you would be on Digitalpoint, everybody on the forums can change their signature that shows up at the end of every post, change yours and put a link to your blog in it, and there's your first backlink.
Sign up to any forums you can and start putting the link in your signature, you will gain traffic and look like a more credible site when other websites are linking to you.

Blog commenting, Yahoo Answers, and Digg are also great places for you to gain backlinks!

Work-At-Home Jobs Online : Good for Teens?

For any teenager who want to work online, please understand you should not drop out of school, and you should not avoid getting a job offline.
School can be a great help to your work online, if you have a job online selling articles than you may be able to sell reports that you write in school. I'm sure a lot of things you learn and see in school could inspire you and your work online.

Never, if you ever get the chance, never pass up a steady job offline! Why?
Because that's money you can use to invest into an online website, promotion, etc. You can make more money online if you have money already, the possibilities are endless!

Please, I do not want to encourage the acts of dropping out of school and passing up a job offline.
Working at home and having an online job is great, but don't rely on it 100%.

Having an Online Job and a Life Offline

It may be difficult for you to keep up with everything, when I first started working online I had no support from anybody because no one believed me! It took months before I managed to make good money, and even when I started making money people were doubting me and telling me to go get a real job or I'm never gonna get anywhere. Well guess what, I make around $3,000 a month and it's only going to increase.

The point of this is, no matter what people will have their doubts, make sure you create a balance between your work online and your life offline. I've lost friends due to so many arguments, I've been looked down on by many people, and if I could go back and change it I would. Spending time with your family and friends, having an optimistic outlook on life, could show better results.

Teens that want to work online, please keep in mind that you may not want to tell anybody until you start getting paid! Keep it on the low for a while, if you have a supportive family who may really want to see you succeed in having a job online than you are very lucky, tell them, and please, if you follow any tips I may give, feel free to leave a comment and ask questions, I will reply, you got my support!!

Wanna Sell Products?

Selling products online isn't always easy to do, but with the help of social networking sites like Myspace, Facebook, and Twitter it has become a very easy process.
You can sign up to Commission Junction where you can browse through thousands of affiliate programs, or you can just sign up with Amazon Associates and be able to sell any product you can think of. I recommend you sign up with Amazon, because people trust buying from Amazon, people know the name, it's a very successful website.
Ever used Craigslist to sell something? Sell something old, get some new cash, well now you can sell any product on Amazon through Craigslist, so its free money!

There is a method to advertising on Craigslist, and you do not want to be flagged as spam! Post a picture of the product, a description, and have people email you about it, once they email you, respond and give them the link.
This has worked well for me, and I've never a bad experience with it yet, so try it out, I've managed to sell Bowflex home gyms and basketball hoops to make a couple hundred bucks easily, and when people buy something on Amazon they usually buy something else to go with it.

Good Luck!

Good With Photoshop?

Being able to design logos, fliers, posters, and other graphic designs is a very good skill to have, companies online are constantly looking for people to design websites and logos for them, and I've found some great sites where you can connect with these web owners and companies so you can make some money online.
This is one job that teens can do, and I've noticed a lot of teenagers are making money online via myspace by selling layouts, so take it a step further and get a real online job selling designs.
Here is some jobs for teen freelance designers to check out. There is no specific order...

1. AllGraphicDesign
2. FreelanceDesigners
3. GraphicDesignFreelanceJobs

How Teens Can Earn Small Cash...

There must be 100 sites that pay you to click on advertisements, bux.to, clixsense.com, etc. You make about 1 cent per click, they give you like 10 ads to click per day, so you can only make small change unless you can refer other members. Once you refer other members you start making cash from their earnings, and so on...
I have stumbled upon another website called microworkers.com, and they have all kinds of random offers for you to make some money everyday, this would be a good job for a teen trying to get some extra money to go to the movies or get something to eat.
Once again, the earnings are very small, but everything adds up, so if you want some extra cash then sign up to bux.to clixsense.com and microworkers.com, all these sites are very easy to use and don't require much work at all.

How bloggers make money...

If you want to make money from your blog then sign up to Google Adsense and start placing ads on your blog, another thing you should definitely try doing is signing up for an affiliate program like Amazon Associates, where you can sell any product on Amazon and earn commission.
Example, if you run a blog that's about technology, then you can review a product such as the iPhone, and then place an affiliate ad in the post. Review and recommend products!
In order to make money with your blog you will need to have traffic, so if you are thinking about getting into the blogging scene than you will need to read up on SEO (search engine optimization).

Having your own domain (yourdomain.com) is better then using blogger, but both will work just fine. I am using blogger now, but when I make a blog about an interest of mine, such as music, gaming, and movies then I pay for a domain name. Blogger is the only free blog platform you can use for free that lets you place ads on your blog, so it is very important that you use blogger.

It takes time, so don't rely on one blog, make as many as possible, just make sure you can keep up on them! A successful blog will have about 5 or more posts a day, don't start what you can't finish.

Writing Jobs for Teens - Freelance Writing

Assuming that most of you are still in school, how would it feel to get paid for all those essays your english/language arts teacher makes you write? You can become a freelance writer and work online typing up articles anywhere from 250 words to a 1000 words or more. Do you blog? You can become a paid blogger, get paid for every post published on somebody's website.
Start by signing up to TextBroker.com, when you sign up they will make you write a quick article so that they can rate your writing skills. They rate by 2 stars, 3 stars, 4 stars, and 5 stars.. here's how they pay you..
Minimum Quality Price per word note
2 stars: legible 0.010 USD
3 stars: average 0.014 USD Convenient for large volume orders
4 stars: excellent 0.020 USD Recommended for time-sensitive orders
5 stars: professional 0.067 USD

A 250 word article will make you about $2.50 if you're rated with 2 stars. Once accepted you will be able to write articles for other people, believe me, there's plenty of stuff for you to write once signed up, and everything you write will be constantly reviewed by TextBroker so you can boost your ranking to 3, 4, or 5 stars. They will pay you via PayPal, so make sure you sign up if you haven't yet.
Sounds good?
Because that's just the start, sign up to DigitalPoint forums and start selling articles to web owners. You can make $7 an hour easily by using textbroker and selling your articles on digitalpoint and other forums, just google freelance writing and start looking for freelance writer jobs.

Most jobs for teens online will require basic writing skills, you don't have to be great at writing to make money from it.
If you want to have a steady income with little work, consider making your own website and/or starting a blog. I seriously recommend you do this on the side though, because it takes time and hard work to start making good money. You will need to sign up with Google Adsense so you can place relevant ads on your website or blog, and when people click the ads you get paid. Sounds easy, but it requires that your blog has a good amount of daily traffic.

If you do take this route and become a freelance writer, then you should keep writing articles for people and sign up to blogger.com to make a blog and put google ads on it. Look on craigslist for local jobs, and look on digitalpoint forums, sometimes people are hiring bloggers, use your blog as a resume for your writing ability.

It takes hard work, dedication, and a lot of patience for teens to make money online, but it can happen, and you may never need a job offline for the rest of your life!

Online Jobs for Teens

Nowadays everybody is looking for a job, and I've personally noticed that it is very hard for a teenager to get a job, especially if they haven't had any experience working before. If you've never had a job in your life and you think working online will be the best option for you, then you came to the right place!
I've been online for about 8 years now, and I've tried every method to making money online, I'm 20 now, so a lot of the money that I made came from when I was a teenager working online. I must admit though, it is not as easy as everyone makes it looks, if you think you can work one hour a day online and make a couple 100 bucks a week then you are crazy!!
I will fill you in on every type of online job that there is for teens (they're not just for teens though).

Making 50 dollars a day online is a possibility, there really is no limit, it's just a matter of knowing what to do, and putting in a lot of hours. But hey, sitting at a computer for cash doesn't sound so bad, and a lot of jobs for teens will allow you to use social networking sites to sell products, promote a blog, etc.
